Canon U.S.A. Announces Acquisition of Its Direct Consulting Business by CIBER, Inc.

LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y., January 30, 2009 – Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging, announced that, effective today, CIBER, Inc. has acquired Canon Technology Solutions, Inc. (CTS), which was a subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc.

CTS has been providing advanced technology solutions and consulting to organizations since 1985. It has helped leading corporations create and sustain competitive advantage by achieving greater levels of productivity through the intelligent application of enabling technologies. CTS offers market-leading consulting, technology and business solutions in enterprise content management, business infrastructure and IT managed services.

Financial details of the acquisition are not being disclosed. CTS’ name will be changed following the close of the transaction. Current CTS customers will continue to be served by CIBER.
